WARRANTY AND SUPPORT POLICY
Catalyst Data Solutions stands behind eligible products with a limited warranty program designed to provide confidence and support after purchase.
90-Day Limited Warranty
Catalyst Data Solutions provides a 90-day limited warranty on eligible products. If a product has a defect in materials during the warranty period, Catalyst Data Solutions will first attempt to replace the merchandise. Replacement coverage continues only through the remainder of the original warranty period. If a replacement cannot be provided, Catalyst Data Solutions may, at its sole discretion, refund the actual sale price of the merchandise. Shipping charges and taxes are non-refundable. Catalyst Data Solutions reserves the right to determine whether to replace the product or refund the purchase price.
Warranty Exclusions
Our warranties do not cover problems caused by:
- Accident, abuse, neglect, shock, electrostatic discharge, excessive heat or humidity, improper installation, improper operation, improper maintenance, or unauthorized modification
- Misuse contrary to instructions in the applicable user manual
- Lost passwords
- Malfunctions caused by other equipment
Warranty coverage is also void if a product is returned with removed, damaged, or tampered labels, or with any alteration, including removal of any component or external cover. Our warranties do not cover data loss, damage to other equipment, consequential damages, incidental damages, or costs related to data recovery, removal, or installation.
Extended 1-Year In-House Warranty
Where purchased, the Extended 1-Year In-House Warranty begins after the original 90-day warranty period and expires one year from the original purchase date shown on the invoice. If a covered defect in materials occurs during the extended warranty period, Catalyst Data Solutions will provide one replacement only. If a replacement cannot be provided, Catalyst Data Solutions may refund the actual sale price of the merchandise. Warranty charges, shipping charges, and taxes are non-refundable.
Manufacturer Warranty Notice
Manufacturer warranties may vary by product category. In some cases, products sold by Catalyst Data Solutions may not be covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty. Manufacturers may also refuse warranty coverage, support, rebates, recalls, or other services for products purchased from independent resellers or for products that have been altered or modified.
Warranty Claims
For warranty service, customers must request an RMA number and follow Catalyst Data Solutions’ required return procedure. Catalyst Data Solutions is not obligated to provide warranty coverage unless the customer follows the required return process.
